Life in Tracy

It's taken us a while to get completely unpacked in our new house.  In fact...it's not such a new house anymore...and we've still got a few boxes here and there!  It got hot really quickly once we got here, and we've been trying to get used to the heat.  Tyler's job is going fairly well and the boys and I keep busy at home doing lots of outings and playdates.

Landon also turned 18 months shortly after we got here which means...he got to go into nursery!!  He did great for the first couple of months, then went through a "stranger danger" phase where he cried a lot and didn't want to go, but now he likes it again.  It's nice to be able to have both the boys go to nursery together.  They'll be in there together until the new year.  We've gotten reports that Carter is kind of crazy and that Landon is just sweet and quiet.  We love our boys!  Here's some pictures of Landon's first day of nursery:

We've also been spending a lot of time in our yard.  Our backyard is a perfect mix of grass and concrete so the boys can ride their bikes and scooters back there, and then go down the slide into the grass.  There's also a lot of rocks that they enjoy collecting/throwing/shoveling/etc.

Being close to San Francisco, we've tried to take advantage of going to the city.  One day we did the whole Fisherman's Wharf thing.  I got a zipper bag, we ate amazing nutella banana crepes, we saw the sea lions, we went on carousel, and we enjoyed views of the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge.  It was quite the idyllic day.

And one more little adventure in our new home...it was really quiet one day so I went to investigate and happened upon this:

I decided long ago that in situations like this I first grab the camera and THEN deal with the scolding and cleaning up ;)

We are now caught up through the end of April!  Phew, we're getting there!!
